Unaccounted For This photograph documents an abandoned building in my village in India, a structure whose original function is now unknown. Left unused and gradually weathered by time, the building exists in a state of suspension, neither fully present nor entirely gone. Its surfaces bear traces of labour, occupation, and neglect, yet resist clear narration. The image reflects an interest in spaces that fall outside official records, where purpose has faded but material presence remains. In its stillness, the building holds a quiet beauty alongside an unsettling absence, becoming a site where memory, uncertainty, and inherited histories intersect. #fineartphotography #photography #artist #photographer #artwork

As He Walked Past Photograph on found wood He walked along the path slowly, the dust rising gently with each step, the soft sounds of his sandals tapping against the earth. He did not look up, nor did he speak, yet something in his posture told me more than words could. There was a heaviness in his shoulders, a quiet fatigue in the way his fingers curled around the handles of the bags he carried, as though he’d been holding them far longer than his body wished to. The bags of clothes seemed to pull at him, and still he kept moving; steady, uncomplaining. The sun pressed down, warming the grasses on either side of the path, and for a moment the whole landscape seemed to exhale around him. He walked towards the river along the same path I return to only in fragments and photographs. I stood there quietly, watching him approach and then pass, the faint breeze lifting the edge of his shirt. He didn’t acknowledge me, but he didn’t need to. There was a shared understanding in the stillness between us. A recognition of labour, of distance, of lives shaped by repetition and resilience. As he moved further down the path, his figure grew smaller, folding into the light. I felt the familiar ache of witness, knowing I could frame the moment, but never fully hold the story he carried. The path continued on behind him, and the dust settled softly, as if remembering every footstep that had ever passed through its quiet. @lborofinearts @lborouniarts #art #fineart #artist #artwork #photographer #photography #india #home #river #fineartphotography #artstudent

Testing out transfer prints on a piece of pallet wood. Super interesting to see how the wood’s materiality impacts the images, producing unique results each time.
